Our ministries are organised around four commitments: worship, the next generation, community outreach, and missions. Some are growing and some are just beginning, and there is a place in every one of them for you.
Worship & Bible Study
Sunday morning is the heart of our week. We sing, pray, and open the Scriptures together. The preaching is Bible-centred and the welcome is real. Sunday School meets before worship for every age, and Bible study follows right after the service, from 12:30 to 1:15 PM. Bible study is where we dig into the basics of Bible doctrine together, because helping one another grow as disciples of Jesus is our first goal.
Children & Youth
We believe the church needs every generation in the same room. Our older members carry wisdom, and our young people carry energy and new questions. Lady Charnetta Parks leads our children's ministry. As young families join us, classes meet in the fellowship hall during worship, where lessons are made for them.
If you're bringing children, let us know. We'll be ready for them.
Community Outreach
Pastor Parks has a heart for taking the church to the people. We are planning cookout days, meals, and practical care for our neighbours in Etowah and McMinn County, including those without a home. Every outreach date goes on our calendar, and you don't have to be a member to come serve with us.
Celebrate Recovery
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery ministry that helps people overcome their hurts, hang-ups, and habits. It is open to the whole community. You don't need to be a member of Star Bethel to come.
Thursdays, 6:30 to 9:00 PM
Hosted off-site at Spirit City Church North Etowah, 231 Pennsylvania Ave, Etowah, TN 37331. Celebrate Recovery meets there, not at our County Road 890 building, because it needs more room than we have.
Childcare is available for ages 11 and under. Please register your child before you come.

Seniors & Homebound
When members can't make it in person, the church comes to them. Our church family stays close through calls, visits and prayer.
Missions & Fellowship
Ministry starts at home. Our first mission field is our own community, and from there we reach further. As a Missionary Baptist church we serve alongside the churches of the Loudon District Association. Together we support missions, attend association meetings and share fellowship services.
Want to get involved? Talk with Pastor Parks after service, or send us a message.
